Rachel Vass
Founder & CEO
Rachel founded Syzygy Cities as a marketplace for socially responsible brands and community developers. As Global Partnerships Manager at TED, she observed how difficult it was for companies to connect to the right causes, and even tougher to tell a story that aligned with their brand. After several years in experiential marketing as a top Account Executive at Sparks (managing clients like Anheuser-Busch, Pinterest, and Marie Claire), and building marketing and product service offerings at Morgan Stanley and several Venture Capital portfolio companies, Rachel has crystalized her mission to stimulate economic growth and build brand halo equity for companies who care.

Vikram Sangha
Marketing + Strategy Chief
Vikram brings 10+ years planning large-scale events and experiential marketing strategies for global brands, formerly working at top global agency Sparks, producing events and activations for clients including T-Mobile, Google and Salesforce. He is well versed in media and culture, having worked behind-the-scenes for entertainment properties like Viacom, AEG and Goldenvoice (Coachella), as well as an experienced perspective on intersections of diversity and marketing to a variety of business & consumer audiences. Vikram holds a Masters in Strategic Communications from Columbia University.

Kenneth Thomas
Chief Financial Officer
Kenneth Thomas’ expertise in cash management stems largely from his long-standing exposure in corporate treasury in both the private equity and renewables industries. His background also ventures into construction, real estate, politics, in various capacities. Rounding out his skill sets, in the corporate arena, are stints in accounting and supporting finance functions. He is a co-founder of a nonprofit organization that supports minority and women owned contractors. Kenneth serves on several boards and has been named a LinkedIn Top Voice for Equity in the Workplace, along with being named a Construction Power 100 and M/WBE Power 50 Honoree through the publication City & State (NY).

Yasmin Toney
Strategic Partnerships
Yasmin is committed to creating partnerships that propel impact-commercial development at Syzygy Cities. Prior to joining, Yasmin scaled her sales career at CB Insights where she managed relationships with 50+ global venture capital and private equity clients. As an account manager, she consulted her clients on best practices for conducting due diligence and staying on top of a variety of emerging technologies. Yasmin holds a Bachelors of Arts in Urban Studies from Brown University.

Ed Glickman
Strategic Advisor
Ed is an expert in real estate finance and operations and brings over twenty years of leadership experience as a public company C-level executive, including the President at PREIT and Executive Chairman at AIP Asset Management, with strategic, operational, financial, and capital markets expertise. He is a Clinical Professor and Executive Director at NYU Stern, and an MBA graduate of Harvard Business School.
